Department of political science
The Department of Political Science was established in 1968. Since 1990 Political Science was taught as minor subject. Now it is taught as one of the optional subjects. Prof.B.H Havaldar was the pioneer faculty of the department, who lead the department till 2000. After his retirement Shri.B.M Turadagi worked as guest faculty till 2001.Dr.P.H Uppaladinni joined the department in 2001 as permanent faculty. Due to increase in the number of students lead to work load. The department has strived hard for the welfare of students. Shri.S.H Natikar joined the department in 2019 as the guest faculty. The department has organized seminars and workshops to create political awareness about the national and international. The department has also conducted classroom seminar continuously to prepare the students for the higher studies and competitive examinations. The department has organized special guest lectures. Project Works, Role Play and other activities for the welfare of the students.
